Children's Chocolate Classes

The Cocoa Black Chocolate School in Peebles, near Edinburgh offers children’s chocolate classes for 10-14 year olds.  Children’s chocolate classes are held in Cocoa Black’s purpose fitted chocolate factory.  Children’s chocolate classes provide a fun, practical introduction to chocolate making with each child taking home the chocolates they make.  No chocolate making experience is required.  Children’s chocolate classes are a very popular gift item and are often the start of a new hobby.  Accompanying adults are welcome to watch the children’s chocolate classes from a viewing gallery.  Parking is available.  Bookings can be taken for individuals or private parties.  The Chocolate School also offers a range of adult classes including beginner chocolate classes, professional chocolate classes and chocolate truffle making.

How Often are the Children's Chocolate Classes?

Children’s chocolate workshops last for one hour and are held regularly throughout the year.  A schedule of forthcoming class dates is available on the Children's Chocolate Class booking page.  Simply choose from the available dates, select the number of attendees and Add to Cart.  Should you not find a date to suit, please contact us and we will do what we can to help.  Private group bookings (e.g. birthday parties) can be arranged by appointment.

What Skills do the Children’s Chocolate Classes Teach?

Children’s chocolate classes provide a solid introduction to chocolate making.  Participants of the children’s chocolate making workshops will have the skills required to make their own chocolates at home.  Cocoa Black can also provide chocolate making supplies for those who wish to develop their skills further.  Children’s chocolate classes provide a good platform for developing chocolate making skills.  Many of our participants return for additional classes to develop their skills further.
