The Cocoa Black Chocolate & Pastry School offers groups of four or more the chance to book a private group class. Whether you are looking for a venue for a corporate entertainment event or are planning a hen party activity, a private group chocolate class is a popular choice. The Chocolate & Pastry School is located in Peebles, near Edinburgh. The school can accommodate groups of up to 40. Private group chocolate classes are suitable for adults aged 14 and over. Private group children’s chocolate classes are also available. No chocolate making experience is required. Parking is available. Private group chocolate classes are arranged by appointment. What will we Learn?
Private group chocolate classes have been designed to meet the needs of larger groups. Classes are chosen from our beginner chocolate classes meaning that no experience is required. Each class is fun and informative and follows a structured learning process. Private group chocolate classes take the format of either a chocolate tasting workshop (90 minutes) or a practical chocolate making class (2 or 3 hours). Each class teaches essential background information on chocolate including: how chocolate is made, cacao varieties and a chocolate tasting exercise. The practical classes then go on to explore chocolate tempering (preparing the chocolate ready to be worked) before participants make and gift wrap their own chocolates.
What Happens After the Class?
Whilst private group chocolate classes are designed to be fun, they are also highly informative and will provide participants with a good understanding of chocolate making. The practical classes will equip participants with the skills required to make their own handmade chocolates at home. Hen parties often use the private group chocolate classes to make chocolate wedding favours ready for their big day. Whatever the aim of your group event, we would be delighted to hear from you.
