THIS CHOCOLATE COURSE TEACHES THE ESSENTIAL CHOCOLATE MAKING SKILLS REQUIRED TO CREATE BEAUTIFUL HANDMADE CHOCOLATES, INTRICATE CHOCOLATE DECORATIONS AND A STUNNING CHOCOLATE SCULPTURE.

The Chocolate Masterchef course is suitable for chefs, caterers, home cooks and anyone wishing to develop their chocolate making skills.  This is a two day course which provides a comprehensive overview of the essential skills required to work confidently with chocolate.  Participants on the Chocolate Masterchef course would normally have some experience of chocolate work, or would have attended the Introduction to Chocolate Making class.

COURSE MODULES:

Chocolate Theory - Learn about tempering chocolate, how chocolate is made and guidance on tasting.  Learn how to prepare moulds for fillings.

Advanced Chocolates and Pralines - Learn professional moulding techniques, moulding with different coloured chocolate and the use of textured transfers.

Chocolate Garnishes / Introduction to Showpieces - Learn how to create a simple chocolate show piece and chocolate decorations and flowers.
