Learn the art of chocolate from the World Chocolate Master.
We are delighted to welcome Frank Haasnoot back to The Chocolate & Pastry School near Edinburgh. Spend three days with Frank as you design and create your own chocolate showpiece under the tuition of the World Chocolate Master. Participants receive a signed certificate.
What skills will I learn?
You’ll practice a range of techniques that will allow you to design and assemble your own chocolate showpiece including:
1. planning and design;
2. mould making materials and techniques;
3. casting, carving, modelling, polishing, moulding & free-form techniques;
4. structural assembly of your chocolate showpiece; and the
5. application of finishing techniques.
Who’s the Frank Haasnoot Masterclass suitable for?
The Frank Haasnoot Chocolate Masterclass is a challenging three-day masterclass designed for pastry chefs, chocolatiers and students. Participants typically have an intermediate to advanced skill level in chocolate and a desire to develop their professional network and showpiece repertoire.
About Frank Haasnoot
Born in the Netherlands, Frank’s career in pastry has spanned over 20 years and has taken him around the world. In 2011, he won the World Chocolate Masters in Paris, the world’s leading competition for pastry chefs.
Do I need to bring anything?
On arriving at The Chocolate & Pastry School, you’ll be supplied with all the equipment and ingredients needed for your course. Participants are required to bring their own chefs’ jacket.
