Emerging Chocolate Trends with Ruth Hinks


Would you like to learn about the very latest trends in the chocolate industry?
Learn about vegan chocolate, dipped and decorated snacking bars, lactose free chocolate and how to blend chocolate to optimise flavour. Developed by Ruth Hinks, this two day practical chocolate course complements the skills  taught in Chocolate Masterchef Course Level 1: Essential Chocolate Skills and Chocolate Masterchef Course Level 2: Creative Chocolate Skills. Participants receive a signed certificate upon completion.

What chocolate skills will I learn?
During the Emerging Chocolate Trends with Ruth Hinks course, you’ll work individually and in pairs under close supervision from Ruth. This course will bring you up to date on the latest trends, and recipes. During the course you will also explore:
• vegan chocolate recipes
• lactose free chocolate recipes
• roasted chocolate fillings
• blended ganache fillings
• preparation of gianduja
• advanced recipes for moulding and dipping

Who’s the Creative Chocolate Skills with Ruth Hinks suitable for?
This masterclass has been designed for chefs, students and foodies.  Participants will typically have a good working knowledge of chocolate looking to gain insight into the future of the chocolate industry.

What Will I Take Home?

Chocolate School

You’ll learn the very latest techniques for working with chocolate and pastry, and take home all your delicious confections. From our chocolate classes, you can expect to leave with 50 – 60 beautifully packaged chocolates. From our patisserie classes, you’ll take home 20 – 25 individual patisserie, beautifully boxed and ready to amaze your friends and family. You’ll also be provided with a course recipe book, so you can practise what you’ve learnt at home.
