Pastry Masterclass with Hans Ovando


Learn from the Spanish Chocolate Master.
Spend two days with Hans Ovando (Spanish Chocolate Master) at The Chocolate & Pastry School near Edinburgh. Discover his favourite recipes as you prepare a selection of incredible cakes, entremet, tartlets and gateaux. You will also focus on creating your own silicone moulds and explore new healthy, allergen-free and intolerance recipes. 

Who’s the Hans Ovando Pastry Masterclass suitable for?
The Hans Ovando Pastry Masterclass is an intensive and challenging two day course designed for pastry chefs, chocolatiers and students. Participants typically have an intermediate to advanced skill level in pastry.

About Hans Ovando
Born in Spain, Hans is one of the world’s top pastry chefs. In 2013, he represented Spain at the World Chocolate Masters in Paris. Hans is in high demand as a pastry chef tutor and regularly demonstrates around the world.

Do I need to bring anything?
On arriving at The Chocolate & Pastry School, you’ll be supplied with all the equipment and ingredients needed for your course. Participants are required to bring their own chefs jacket.

What Will I Take Home?

Chocolate School

You’ll learn the very latest techniques for working with chocolate and pastry, and take home all your delicious confections. From our chocolate classes, you can expect to leave with 50 – 60 beautifully packaged chocolates. From our patisserie classes, you’ll take home 20 – 25 individual patisserie, beautifully boxed and ready to amaze your friends and family. You’ll also be provided with a course recipe book, so you can practise what you’ve learnt at home.
