Chocolate Hazelnut Spread

A versatile chocolate which complements the nutty flavours in this spread.

100g Roasted hazelnuts
40g Vegetable oil
40g Icing sugar
10g Cocoa powder
1g Vanilla essence
1g Salt
320g No. 4 milk chocolate


  1. Blend the roasted hazelnuts until they form a semi-smooth paste.
  2. Mix in the vegetable oil, icing sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla essence and salt.
  3. In a plastic bowl, warm No. 4 milk chocolate slowly in the microwave, stirring frequently until just melted.
  4. Slowly pour the melted chocolate into the mixture, and blend until smooth.
  5. Transfer the chocolate hazelnut spread into a jar.

    Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 weeks.
