Thirty years of professional experience came before it. Two years of intensive training led up to it. Then, in 2013, two days of elite competition in Paris put it to the test. Ruth Hinks was the UK’s sole representative at the World Chocolate Masters Final, one of 20 national champions selected from around the world.
She finished ahead of the French and Belgian national champions. No UK chocolatier has ever placed higher.
